Yes, it is part of the package that I presented when I was an AoR Council Member. It is a copy/paste of the same proposal that I e-mailed there. It first began as part of the training program I developed for my Padawans when I was Leader of the LIGHT Council. It's an idea that I've had in development for a year or so.

We might even consider having all Padawans/Apprentices start with this program and at CL40 or 60 give them the option to select which path, LIGHT or DARK, they choose to follow...just a thought

Yeah I was thinking that, but not sure how much integration we want both guilds to have.

You're right, of course...that's one of those thoughts that you have, but shortly thereafter you realize it's a better idea on paper than it is in real life...erm...real "virtual" life...erm...lol...in the game!!! I'll use it as a road map for my own Apprentice, and I hope that others find it useful, or at least use it as a starting point for their own training programs. I don't know that every Master need train their Padawan/Apprentice in the same manner, but it would be nice to have a somewhat uniform training program.

My thoughts in recent times in the game, have also been that the Masters should spend more time with thier apprentices. Too many times I have seen Apprentices ask thier masters for help, only to be told that they were too busy, with no suggestion of any other timeframe. Of course, the apprentice has soon left the system. If you take on an apprentice, it comes with a little sacrifice.

I agree, and i also think everyone on the council should get to know the padawans and spend some time with them, so when the time comes for them to take a seat on the council, the council members are not saying well we dont know what he is like and if we want him on the council and stuff like that.

Check this out... I found this post on the forums... This could be modified to fit our needs... I don't want to change anything to much, but I just wanted to share this with all of you. Let me know what you think. /bow Inta Trials Of The Old Order An NGE friendly guide to Jedi Trials. Before being crowned with the title of "Jedi", a Padawan must under go a series of trials, or tests some may call them, in order to be worthy of said title. It is after these trials are complete that a Padawan becomes a Jedi, and the path of Light Jedi or Dark Jedi is layed before their feet, at which point they must choose what they feel is right for them. Trial of Skill The Trial of Skill usually consisted of a lightsaber duel with either another person or a manifestation of the dark side. The Padawan must find and defeat 5 Dark Jedi Masters, located in the North-Eastern parts on the planet Dantooine. They then must duel another player of equal or greater Combat Level from the opposing faction. Trial of the Flesh The Trial of the Flesh involved the Jedi overcoming great physical pain, hardship, or loss. It could also test the Jedi’s mastery of detachment from physical pleasure and people. Transportation is a great luxury in a Jedi’s life. The Padawan must travel to Dathomir and head to the site of the Old Village (waypoint 5300, -4000), on foot with no means of other transportation, battling any foes on the way. Once there, the Padawan must kneel and meditate respectively, mourning the loss of the Village of Aurillia and people alike. Trial of Courage To pass the Trial of Courage, a Padawan would fight courageously in battle, complete a mission with a low chance of survival, or defeat a superior enemy. Undergoing this test involves a number of enemies the Padawan must defeat. This includes the following: 1 Acklay (found at the bottom of the Geonosian Cave on Yavin IV, waypoint -6488 -417), 1 Ancient Krayt Dragon (found at the Krayt Dragon Graveyard on Tatooine, waypoint 6854 4333), 1 Nightsister Elder (found at the Nightsister Camp POI on Dathomir), and finally, complete 1 Destroy Mission aboard a Corellian Corvette for their current faction (a link to the Corellian Corvette Quest can be found here soe.lithium.com/board/message?board.id=gameguidesht&message.id=12909). Trial of the Spirit To pass the Trial of the Spirit, the Padawan would have to look deep within themselves, and see what they were truly made of. Often times, the Padawan did not like what they saw, and it could be a highly traumatic experience. The final test in the Trials of the Old Order. The Padawan must seek out the Jedi Enclave in whose faith they wish to follow (Imperial= Dark Jedi Enclave at waypoint 5012 311, Rebel= Light Jedi Enclave at waypoint -5573 4881). These hidden Enclave's can be found in the wilds of Yavin IV.

I think our Knight trials where Complete hero of tatooine quest, Kill the Ackley, Kill Ancient Kryate Dragon, Complete corellian corvette mission. so are we going to change it or keep it the same?

I really don't think it matters if it changes or not. Personally, I think that it's up to the master to decide what his/her apprentice does for a trial. We don't want everyone to have to do the same exact thing as each other cause there's no fun in that.

For LIGHT everyone does the same tasks for the Knights Trials. At least those were the minimum.
